SR. CONTROLLER/CONTROLLER

Responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include creation and maintenance of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

Business Plan/Strategic Plan Development: Must lead development of a robust integrated financial model plan.
Must develop KPIs and able to explain assumptions around integrated financial model as well implications of various decisions.
Manages the company financial functions, including accounting, reporting, systems, budgeting, and forecasting.
Provides oversight of effective internal controls.
Prepares detailed analyses, summaries, and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the company on a periodic basis.
Manage P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
Manage General accounting A/R, A/P, Checkbook and Cash Flow Planning.
Prepare monthly financials and board package.
Monitor vendor relationships and inventory.
Must be able to manage all GPO contracts, customer contracts, vendor contracts, etc.
Must be able to assist sales team in proposal development and monitor pricing compliance.
Must have clear understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting, process, and tax knowledge.
Must detail-oriented and be able to win the trust of CEO/investors with navigation between big picture and appropriate details.
Manages the company’s compliance with local and federal regulatory matters.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is required (Finance, Accounting, Financial Services).
MBA/CPA desired.
10+ years of senior financial management experience with a track record of success
Knowledge of accounting and information technology systems is required.
Experience in Pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device highly desirable
