Resignation
Breaking up is hard to do. Resignations can be one of the most difficult challenges in your career search. This is a time when you will likely receive a counter offer, and your decision making will be called into question. There is nothing we can do to make this process easier but we can always discuss this with you when it’s time for you to leave. You should always prepare a Resignation letter for your employee file so there will never be any question as to who parted from whom.

Thank you letters do two things in an interview process. First they show that you are capable of following up on something you’re interested in, and two they keep you alive in the interviewers mind when decisions are being made. I always prefer a formal letter, but with the speed in which decisions are made email versions work just as well. Just make sure you get cards and email addresses of all of the people you meet with
